<p>Magdalena Lumod Alturas-Dejaresco, aged 66 of College Point, New York, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, October 8, 2021.</p> <p>Magdalena is a beloved wife of Luis Antonio Dejaresco; much loved mother of Kathlynn and Brian Mcdonald; grandmother of Emma and dear sister of Romeo &amp; Agnes Alturas, Bernardito &amp; Meldy Alturas.</p> <p>She graduated Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Bohol Provincial Hospital School of Nursing. She migrated to the United States in 1985. She worked as a Registered Nurse for New York Presbyterian &ndash; Queens Hospital for 32 years before retiring. She loves to cook, bake&nbsp;and travel,&nbsp;making good memories.</p> <p>Visitation will be held on October 14, Thursday from 3:00pm to 7:00pm and October 15, Friday, from 11:30am to 3:30pm at<strong> N F Walker of Queens Funeral Home, 8734 80th St., Woodhaven, NY 11421.</strong></p> <p>Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, October 16, 10:00am at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 175-20 74th Ave., Fresh Meadows, NY 11366.</p> <p>Additional funeral service will take place at Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines under the professional service of Funeraria Gomez Udtohan. Interment will be held at Roman Catholic Cemetery &ndash; Dampas District, Tagbilaran City at a later date.</p>

Magdalena Lumod Alturas-Dejaresco, aged 66 of College Point, New York, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, October 8, 2021.

Magdalena is a beloved wife of Luis Antonio Dejaresco; much loved mother of Kathlynn and Brian Mcdonald; grandmother of Emma and dear sister of Romeo & Agnes Alturas, Bernardito & Meldy Alturas.
