Mia Christel Matheson
<p>Mia Christel "Millee" Matheson, age 68, passed away October 2, 2021 becoming an angel free from pain; and flew into the loving arms of her soul mate, sweetheart and husband, John Scott Matheson. They had been married for 32 years and with his sudden passing in January 2021, she had longed for the day to be reunited with him. Millee was born October 23, 1952 to Josef and Barbara Ihrig Adam in Pirmasens, Germany. She migrated to the United States in 1969 and was naturalized and became a citizen in 2001, for which she was proud of. </p> <p>Millee and Scott were successful business owners and when not working, enjoyed spending time on adventures and with family. She was a kind spirit and will be missed by everyone that knew her.</p> <p>Millee is survived by her daughter; Elke (Shawn) Valdez of Mesquite, NV, brother; Rudi Ihrig, grandson’s; Tyler (Jessica) Howard, Nathan, Michael (Paislee) Valdez, granddaughters; Angela Johnson, Emberlee (Tyler) Brooks. She was blessed with 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband; John Scott Matheson, parents, brother; Guenther Ihrig and sister; Renate Ihrig.</p> <p>A Graveside service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mesquite Cemetery on Hardy Way, 1362 Hardy Way, Mesquite, NV.</p>Obituary
