Ms. Shelia Denise Heggins, 60, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 at her residence Born September 8, 1961 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Stella Mozelle Heggins. Educated in the public schools of Rowan County, she was a graduate of Salisbury High School, class of 1979. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree from North Carolina A&T State University in Business Management, Class of 1991. Ms. Heggins was employed for over 10 years with the North Carolina Employment Security Commission as an Employment Consultant Manager. Those left to cherish her memories are her siblings, Tina Heggins of Severna Park, MD, Sharon Hackett of Winston-Salem, and Anthony Thomas(Carlin) of Denham Springs, LA; aunt, Shirley Reid of Salisbury; nieces, Alicia Williams of Gibsonville, SheKita Hackett and Jerennetta Hackett both of Winston-Salem, Nykeemiah Heggins of Severna Park, MD; Kewanna Morgan, A'mya, Anthony Jr., and Carter Heggins all of Louisiana.and a host of great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
