Francis Earl Lindsay

Francis Earl Lindsay, 83, of Westminster, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Carroll Hospital Center. Born July 23, 1938, in Westminster, he was the son of the late Francis Anderson and Emily Smelser Lindsay. He was the loving husband of Beverly Royston Lindsay, his wife of 60 years. Francis graduated from St. John High School, Class of 1957. He spent his working career as an automotive mechanic and retired from Davis Buick GMC after working 41 years as a trained transmission technician. Surviving in addition to his wife is daughter Karen R. Pollock and husband John, and his furry friend Su Su the dog. Francis was a parishioner at St. John Catholic Church in Westminster. He was an avid Ravens and Orioles fan. Francis always liked to be busy. He was a skilled craftsman who made many things for his home. Francis will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. He was predeceased by his parents and sons Kevin Michael Lindsay and Dwayne Francis Lindsay. The family will welcome friends on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, from 12 noon to 1 pm at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. A funeral service will begin at 1pm at the funeral home. Interment will be private for the family at St. John Cemetery, Westminster. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Humane Society of Carroll County, 2517 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, MD 21158.
