Marlow: David Wayne Ward, 63, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 in Marlow.

A memorial service will be held Monday, October 18, 2021, at 1:00 PM, at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Marlow, with Rev. Gene Ray Ward officiating. All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

David was born Thursday, March 6, 1958 in Colorado Springs, CO, to Clifford and Sue (Short) Ward. He was a 1976 graduate of Marlow High School. David lived in the Marlow area all of his life and was an employee in the street department, for the City of Marlow for 10 years. In 2010, he married Yvonne Corley in Duncan. David enjoyed drinking his Dr. Pepper, watching TV, and was an avid OU fan. He also enjoyed hanging out with his friends and talking about the good ole' days. More than anything, David loved his family and cherished the time he got to spend with them.

Survivors include, wife, Yvonne Ward of the home, son, Kennith Nash and wife Candace of Chickasha, 3 daughters, Kaci Waggoner and husband Isaac of Duncan, Kala Ward of Marlow,and Carrie Herrin of Marlow, 4 grandchildren, Johnathan, Henry, Brylie, and Caspian, brother, Mike Ward of Edmond, sister, Jackie Ward of Duncan, and numerous nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents.
