Raymond M. Lalli Sr. Bloomfield Hills, MI Age 94, of Bloomfield Hills,died peacefully at his home on Monday morning October 11,2021. Raymond was the beloved husband of Helen Lalli for fourteen wonderful years; dear father of Jill (Thomas) Kenny of Novi, Kathy (Wally) Koster of Grand Blanc, Raymond (Lorraine) Lalli Jr. of Plymouth and Carol (Matt) Adams of Canton; cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Sarah, Katie, John, Danielle, Stefan, Ryan and Billy. Mr. Lalli is survived by many loving extended family and friends. Preceded in death was his sister, Norma Riccardi. Born on July 3, 1927 in Detroit to Joseph and Maria Lalli, Mr. Lalli proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War where he was involved with building air strips for landing aircraft. Following his service, he followed his mother’s legacy in the industry of wine and spirits for seventy successful years. He was know by his contemporaries in the business as “The Godfather”. A devote Catholic, he was a longtime parishioner of St. Owen Church. Ray took great pride of his family, enjoying numerous activities and trips. The Lalli family have very fond memories of being members at Dearborn Country Club. Visitation has been arranged for Thursday, October 14 from 1:30 until 2:30 PM at AJ Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rogers and Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward Ave., Royal Oak.
