Marie Aileen Quinn Birdwell, age 84 of Rochester Hills, passed away October 11, 2021. Loving wife of the late Herman Howell Quinn and the late William Birdwell. Mother of the late Daniel David Birdwell, the late James Willis Birdwell, William Lee (the late Phyllis) Birdwell, Judy Ann (Robert) Jones, Rick (Jeanette) Quinn, Carol Sue (Lenny) Freed, David (Rachel) Quinn and Patsy R. Birdwell, cherished grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 14. Sister of the late Donald Davis, Barbara Jefferson, Dorothy Johnson, Billy Earl Davis, the late Glen Davis, the late Lester Ray Davis, the late James Howe Davis, the late Nora Ruth Kelley and Vanetta Lacy. Marie retired from the Rochester Community Schools with 38 years of service achieving the position of head cook; she worked at Hamlin Elementary, West Middle, and University Hills Elementary Schools She loved her church and was a longtime member of the Rochester Church of Christ. She loved to cook and feed everyone and loved her grandchildren, her siblings in Tennessee and her 1997 Grand Cherokee Jeep.
