Eric William Heinonen, 28, of Bemidji, MN died on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the Eckles Town Hall in rural Bemidji. Eric was born May 10, 1993 in Bemidji, MN the son of Donald and Janelle (Gustad) Heinonen. He graduated from Bemidji High School. He worked various jobs in Bemidji. He loved working on his computer, training his new puppy, and playing with his son, Ethan. Eric is survived by his son, Ethan Heinonen, mom, Janelle Vance, dad, Donald (Leslie) Heinonen, sister, Lisa Heinonen, nephews, Jarrick and D.J., half brother, Jonthan Palmer, and grandma, Joan Gustad.
