Rosa Mae Steen Caulder, 85, of Bennettsville, SC passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021, at her residence after an illness. She was born October 10, 1936, in Bennettsville, SC a daughter of the late Ebenezer Steen and the late Ethel Parnell Steen. Rosa was a member of Bristow Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and loved to spend time with her grandchildren, cats and dogs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ebenezer and Ethel Steen; two husbands, Howard Walter McCall and Prentiss Caulder; four daughters, Deborah McCall, Annie McCall, Tammy McCall and Peggy Grooms; two brothers, William Steen and Charlie “Bo” Goins; a sister, Peggy Hodge; and a grandson, Corey Allen McCall.

Survivors include her two sons, Franklin McCall (Susie) and Boyd Allen McCall; two daughters, Barbara Ann Hodge (Junior) and Virginia Violet Goins (Chester); a sister, Nancy Hildreth; seventeen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Burroughs Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Bristow Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
