Alyce Jo Whitmer

<p>Alyce Jo Evans Whitmer, age 86, passed away on October 4, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones.&nbsp;She was a native of Safford, AZ, but had resided in the Sacramento area for the past 55 years.&nbsp;She is preceded in death by her husband David Keith Whitmer and her daughters Jennifer and Anita.&nbsp;She is survived by her daughters Melanie (Jeff) Parsons, Cheryl Sedgwick (Carol), and Gayle (Paul) Warren.&nbsp;She was the loving grandmother of Britta, Bridget, Brandon, Brooke, Brian, Brad, Jacob, Hayley, Ashley, Benjamin, Emily, Lisa and Spencer and 23 beautiful great grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker as well as office manager for her husband&rsquo;s counseling practice. She was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and spent much of her life in service to others. She had many talents and enjoyed a wide variety of interests.&nbsp; Some of her favorite time was spent sewing, reading, baking, camping (motorhome style), canoeing, and visiting with family and friends.&nbsp;Friends are invited to attend services Friday, October 22, 2021, at 10AM at the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS (8925 Vintage Park Dr., Sacramento). Interment following the service at Fair Oaks Cemetery.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
