Joseph P Piekarski

Joseph P. Piekarski, 83, of 2043 Elto Road, Tomahawk, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at Wausau Aspirus Hospital. Joe was born February 7, 1938 in Milwaukee to Joseph and Anna Piekarski, Sr. He married Lynette Schuette on June 25, 1960 also in Milwaukee. Joe worked for many years at American Motors Chrysler in Milwaukee. He and Lyn retired to the Lake Nokomis area 20 years ago. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling, and his John Deere garden tractor. He was a faithful and active member of St. Mary Catholic Parish in Tomahawk. Surviving Joe Piekarski are his wife, Lyn; three children, Susan (David) Janczak, Germantown; Alan (Wendy) Piekarski, Nashotah, WI; and Diane (Steven) Miller, Appleton. 2 Sisters, Bernadine Thompson and Josephine Reynolds both of Florida. Joe is further survived by 4 grandchildren, Bradley, Jamie, Brandon, and Jacob and two great grandchildren, Brynn and Carter. He was preceded in death by 6 siblings. A Memorial Service for Joe Piekarski will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of mass at 2 pm. Memorials are appreciated to St. Mary Catholic Church.
