Tell City, Indiana

Terri Daugherty, 68, passed away October 9, 2021 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on May 11, 1953, daughter of William “Allen” and Mary Lillian “Lil” (Hagedorn) Stewart.

Terri was a 1971 graduate of Tell City High School and was united in marriage on July 19, 2002 to Eldon Daugherty, who survives.

Terri attended St. Paul Catholic Church and enjoyed playing cards, computer games and loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Eldon Daugherty, Tell City; her children, Wade Schaefer (Christy), Evansville and Denise Garris, Dale; step children, Don Woody (Angie), Thomasville, NC and Shelby Daugherty, Tell City; grandchildren, Greyson and Hayden Schaefer, Blake Gardner and Jeffrey Garris; step grandchildren, Ashley and Brittany Woody and a sister, Cindy Stewart, Tell City.

Other than her parents, Terri was preceded in death by a brother, David Stewart.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM CDT on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home. Rev. Luke Waugh will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Humane Society or Spencer County-It Takes a Village No-Kill Rescue. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
