Bob (Rubert) Turpin
Bob (Rubert)Turpin, passed suddenly Oct 8th after a lengthy recovery from a surgery at age 72. Predeceased by his parents, late Francis and Elizabeth Turpin and brother Terrance. Bob is survived by his longtime partner, Patricia Lee (daughter Danielle), his daughter Cheryl, son–in law Kevin & beloved granddaughter Julia, along with his family from Little St. Lawrence, NL. His brothers, Alec (Linda), Wayne (Mary), Bruce, Warren, Russ, Dion (Mary) and sister Ruth (Baxter) and many relatives and friends. Bob had a successful military career which included multiple tours of duty overseas, and was a proud member of the second chance AA group for 30 years developing meaningful friendships while being a supportive mentor and role model for many. Respecting Bob’s wishes there will be no funeral service, only a cremation. His family asks to remember Bob and celebrate his life in your own special way.
