On October 7th, 2021, Mrs. Olive Robina Jones, passed away the lasting age of 91 years. Olive was born on August 27th, 1930 in Calgary, Alberta. This is where she studied accounting as well as met her first husband. Together they started a family, having one daughter and one son. Her daughter, Shirley (Barry) Elliott is left to mourn her passing, along with her grandson David Elliott and granddaughter, Jill Elliott. Olive enjoyed knitting beautiful pieces of work, watching old movies, and reading the Calgary Herald. She was known to read the paper each day as well as complete the daily Herald crossword. She was always very generous toward family and friends, and regularly supported several charities. Olive is pre-deceased by her husband, Bob Jones, her son, Robert Smallwood, her father and mother, Joseph Maynard and mother Helen Maynard (nee Throburn), and her son-in-law, Barry Elliott.
