Lorraine M. Arcement, 87, a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Labadieville, LA passed away on October 08, 2021 . A visitation will be held in her honor on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at St. Philomena Catholic Church, Labadieville, from 9:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM. The burial will follow in St. Philomena Cemetery. She is survived by her 3 children; Judy A. Prejeant, Glenn Arcement (Mary), Cathy A. Guillot and companion, Eddie Fulkerson and his daughter, Mallory; 5 grandchildren, Bridget Genovese (Chris), Drew Arcement (Angela), Ryan Prejeant (Tabitha), Aimee Adams (Chet), and John Arcement (Jody); 10 great grandchildren, Andie, Alyssa, Keaton, Aiden, Abbigail, Sammy, John Michael, Jackson, Jane Lynn, Baker, and step-great grand daughter, Aubrey Adams. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Theresa Menuet. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Lawrence Arcement, Jr.; parents, George and Addie Clause Menuet; in-laws, Lawrence and Euna Arcement; son-in-law, Albert "A.J." Guillot, Jr.; brother, Raymond Menuet; sister, Joyce M. Richard; brothers-in-law, Amery and Edward Arcement, and Anthony Richard; sister-in-law, Peggy Arcement. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an excellent cook, making the best gumbo and crab stew. She enjoyed her weekends at the camp on Lake Verret. She also loved to watch football and spent 30 years of Saturday nights in Tiger Stadium. She will be dearly missed by all.
