Virginia M Malloy

<p>Virginia M. Malloy (nee Strupp), on October 7, 2021, age 95 of Drexel Hill since 1959, formerly of Milwaukee. Born in Milwaukee, WI, she graduated from Rufus King High School class of 1944. Virginia was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Drexel Hill, where she had served as a driver and was in charge of the HOPE program. She was an avid reader and bridge player.</p> <p>She married the late John R. Malloy Sr. in 1945, who passed away in 1982.&nbsp;</p> <p>She was preceded in death by three of her children: Michael Malloy, Jeanne Hirsch (surviving son-in-law Kenneth Kirsch of Scottsdale, AZ), and Elizabeth Blackman (surviving son-in-law Ed Blackman of Narberth, PA), and&nbsp;by her brother Herbert Strupp (her only sibling).</p> <p>Virginia is survived by 11 children,&nbsp;Mary and Kevin Johnson of Montrose, PA, Patricia and Frank Howard of Pinehurst, NC, John and Gloria Malloy of The Woodlands, TX, Timothy and Connie Malloy of Fleetwood, PA,&nbsp;Martin Malloy of Upper Darby, PA, Bridget and Rich McKay of Springfield, PA, Robert Malloy of Broomall, PA, Catherine Malloy of Phoenix, AZ, James and Laura Malloy of West Chester, PA, Joan and Ronald Hill of West Chester, PA, Virginia and Richard Gray, Clayton, DE.</p> <p>She is also survived by&nbsp;seventeen grandchildren and&nbsp;thirteen great grandchildren</p> <p>Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Tuesday evening 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Logan-Videon Funeral Home,&nbsp;2001 Sproul Rd., Broomall, PA 19008, and her Mass Wednesday morning 10:00 AM in St. Andrew the Apostle Church,&nbsp;3500 School Lane, Drexel Hill, PA 19026.
