Bessie Annette Fenn

Mrs. Bessie Annette Patrick Fenn, age 86, of Clayton, Alabama passed away October 8, 2021, at her residence with her loving family by her side. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Clayton Baptist Church in Clayton with Reverend Bill Brown and John Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Clayton City Cemetery with Glover Funeral Home of Clayton directing. The family will receive friends, Monday, October 11, at Glover Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made in her memory to the Clayton Baptist Church. Bessie was born June 11, 1935, in Houston County, Alabama, the daughter of Thomas Patrick and Lonie Phillmon Patrick. She was a 1954 graduate of Eufaula High School. She was a faithful member of Clayton Baptist Church and served as the secretary for many years and recently retired in 2020. She was a member of the Garden Club and Dimestore Dollies. Her hobbies include reading, sewing, needle point, cooking, and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Edward Fenn; four brothers, Allison Taylor, Madison Taylor, Thomas Taylor, and Roscoe Taylor. Survivors include three daughters, Ann Orr (Ronnie), Clayton, Edna Foshee (Robin), Trussville, Janet Edwards (Thomas), Tallassee; sister, Betty Monk, Eclectic; five grandchildren, Johathan Orr (Holly), Anna Orr, Nathan Foshee (Katie), Haley Griggs (Justin), Meagan Price (Michael) and six great-grandchildren, Liliana Orr, Lilah Grace Foshee, Austin Griggs, Easton Griggs, J.P. Griggs, Cameron Price, and several nieces and nephews. Asked to serve as pallbearers are: Jamie Williams, Craig Wolfe, Johnny Creel, Johnny Gordon, Rollins Taylor, and Evan Faircloth.
