Constance Darlene Hart

Constance D. “Connie” Hart, 69, of Shippensburg, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born Wednesday, June 18, 1952 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Robert Donald and Betty Ann Kurtz Craig. Connie was a 1970 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School. She was loved and will be missed by many. She enjoyed being around people and serving her customers at her various places of employment. Connie loved and cherished her family and friends very much. She enjoyed collecting owls, and tea pots. She loved gardening and flowers, caving with her second husband Jim and camping and going to the beach with her boys. Connie loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids and the several add on kids that she enjoyed spending every moment with. Connie is survived by her second husband of 24 years, James A. “Jim” Hart, whom she married January 18, 1997; three sons, Frank E. (Wendy) Coover, Orrstown, Charles A. (Marcy) Coover, Sr. and Patrick L. Coover, all of Shippensburg; one daughter, Amanda R. (Shaun) Hann, Fayetteville; 12 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; also surviving are two step brothers, Steven and Brad Sprow; and two step sisters, Paulie Tasker and Brenda Beltz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Arthur Coover; one brother, Charlie S. Craig; and one sister, Jesse Craig-Brown. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with the Rev. Luke Holtry officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Central PA 900 S. Arlington Ave., Suite 134 Harrisburg, PA 17109 or www.kfcp.org. I am so sorry to learn of Connie's death. I got to know Connie when her son Patrick was a student at James Burd Elementary School, and Jim is a friend from Scotland School. My sympathies to her family and friends.

My sincere and heartfelt sympathy to Connie's family. I have known Connie since we were teenagers.
So sad to learn of her passing. My heart goes out to you kids and grandkids, she loved you all very much.
