Dear Fathers, Distinguished Guests and Families, Following is a brief biography of our brother Bona Duresa (Baptism name: Wolde Yohannes). Our brother, Bona Duresa, was born on March 14, 1960 (Ethiopian Calendar), in the former Welega State, Dembidolo, Ethiopia. Our brother, Bona, was the 10th of 14 children born to his family. After completing his primary education at Huliko Dengel Primary School and Kelem General High School in 1980(E.C), Bona joined the then Ethiopian Navy and served his beloved country until 1983(E.C). Then, in 1983, the Ethiopian navy collapsed due to the change of government in our country. Together with his colleagues, he began his life as a refugee in Yemen. Our brother, Bona, was very active in Yemen, providing shelter to our people who had fled our country due to various problems, helping them fulfill their religious obligations, and so on. He then went through various hardships in exile in Yemen, where he met his wife, Altaye Kibret, who is still his life partner. Together with his wife, they emigrated to the United States. After coming to the United States as a refugee, our brother Bona worked in various capacities, and with a deep love for education and a strong desire to make a living, he graduated from Charlotte CPCC COLLEGE in Auto Mechanic. In his day-to-day relationship, our brother, Mr. Bona, was very respectful, honest, hardworking, friendly, playful, and considerate of everyone in need. These are just a few of Mr. Bona's good deeds and profiles. Mr. Bona was the father of two boys, aged 14 and 13. Mr. Bona was a great spiritual patriotic brother who, after realizing that he had a terminal illness, prepared himself and did his best to have God's mercy on him, and he graciously accepted the offer without complaining about why. So, "In the end, from home, if he had, he would have died." No matter how much we love and care for our brother He has already gone to our inevitable country and home that we are all traveling to. Finally, to his children, whom he loved cares as much as he loved and cares for himself, to his wife, whom he loved as much as he loved himself, to his mother and other family members who always longed for his voice; We also conclude with a brief biography of Bona Duresa, wishing him well in his endeavors for the well-being of his friends who have endured many trials and tribulations. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 7AM - 11AM at Ankise Miheret Bata Lemariam Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, 3912 North Sharon Amity Rd., Charlotte. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. የአቶ ቦና ዱሬሳ አጭር የሕይወት ታሪክ የተከበራችሁ አባቶች ፣ የተከበራችሁ እንግዶች እና ቤተሰቦች ከዚህ በማስከተል የወንድማችን የአቶ ቦና ዱሬሳን ( ስመ ጥምቀቱ ወልደ ዮሐንስ) አጭር የሕይወት ታሪክ እናቀርባልን፡፡ ወንድማችን አቶ ቦና ዱሬሳ ከእናቱ ወ/ሮ ለዝና መብርሃቴ ደስታ እና ከአባቱ ከአቶ ዱሬሳ ቦና እንደ ኢትዮጵያ ዘመን አቆጣጠር መጋቢት 14 ቀን 1960 ዓ.ም በቀድሞው የወለጋ ክፍለ ሀገር ደምቢዶሎ ተወለደ ፡፡ ወንድማችን አቶ ቦና ቤተሰቦቹ ከወለዷቸው 14 ልጆች መካከል 10ኛ ልጅ ነበር፡፡ አቶ ቦና የመጀመሪያ ደረጃ ትመርቱን በሁሊቆ ድንግል አንደኛ ደረጃ፣ የሁለተኛ ደረጃ ትምህርቱን በቄለም አጠቃላይ ሁለተኛ ደረጃ ትምህርት ቤቶች በ 1980 ዓ.ም ካጠናቀቀ በኋላ በወቅቱ የነበረውን የኢትዮጵያ ባሕር ኃይል ተቀላቅሎ እስከ 1983 ዓ.ም ድረስ የሚወዳት ሀገሩን ሲያገለግል ኖሯል፡፡ ከዚያም በ 1983 ዓ.ም በሀገራችን ኢትዮጵያ በተከሰተው የመንግሥት ለውጥ ምክነያት የኢትዮጵያ ባሕር ኃይል ሲፈርስ ከሌሎች የሥራ ባልደረባዎቹ ጋር በመሆን የስደትን ሕይወት በየመን ߵ ߵሀ ߴߴ ብሎ ጀመረ፡፡ ወንድማችን አቶ ቦና በየመን በተለያዩ ችግሮች ምክነያት ከሀጋራችን ተሰደው ይመጡ ለነበሩ ወገኖቻችን መጠለያ በመሆን፣እንደየ እምነታቸው ሃይማኖታዊ ግዴታዎቻቸውን እንዲወጡ በማገዝና በመሳሰሉት የማኅበራዊ አገልግሎቶች የነበረው ተሳትፎ እጅግ ከፍተኛ ነበር፡፡ ከዚያም የተለያዩ ውጣ ውረዶችን በየመን በስደት ካሳለፈ በኋላ እስከዛሬ የሕይወት አጋር የሆነችውን ባለቤቱን ወ/ሮ አልታዬ ክብረትን አገኘ፡፡ ከዚያም ከባለቤቱ ጋር በመሆን የስደት ግዟቸውን ወደ አሜሪካ አደረጉ፡፡ ወንድማችን ቦና ወደ አሜሪካ በስደት ከመጣ በኋላ በተለያዩ ቦታዎች የሠራ ሲሆን ለትምህርት ካለው ጥልቅ ፍቅርና ኑሮውን ለማሸነፍ ከነበረው ከፍተኛ ጉጉት በመነሳት በሻርለት CPCC COLLEGE የ Auto Mechanic ትምህርቱን በሚገባ ተከታትሎ የተመረቀና በዛውም የሥራ መስክ የግል ሥራውን ከፍቶ ሁላችንንም ሲያገለግል እና ሲረዳ የነበረ ትጉሕ ወንድማችን ነበር፡ ፡ ወንድማችን አቶ ቦና በዕለት ተዕለት ግንኙነቱ እጅግ ሰውን አክባሪ፣ቀና ፣ ታታሪና ለሰው በችግሩ ሁሉ የሚደርስ በማኅበራዊ ሕይወቱም ተግባቢ፣ጨዋታ አዋቂና ለተቸገረ ሁሉ ማልካም አሳቢ ነበር፡፡ በአድም በሌላም ሁላችንም ከቦና መልካም አገልክግሎቶችን ስናገኝ የነበረ በመሆኑ የጠቀስናቸው መገለጫዎች ቢያንሱበት እንጂ የሚበዙበት አይደሉም፡፡ አቶ ቦና የ 14 እና የ 13 ዓመታት ሁለት ወንድ ልጆች አባትም ነበር፡፡ አቶ ቦና ይህ ለሞት ያበቃው በሽታ እንደ አደረበት ካወቀ በኋላ እራሱን በማዘጋጀት አምላኩ እግዚአብሔር ምሕረት እንዲልክለት የቻለውን ሁሉ ሲያደርግ የነበረና ለምን እንደዚህ እሆናለሁ ብሎ ሳያማርር የተሰጠውን በጸጋ የተቀበለ ታላቅ መንፈሳዊ አርበኛ ወንድማችን ነበር፡፡ እንግዲህ ߵߵ ውሎ ውሎ ከቤት፣ ኖሮ ኖሮ ከሞትߴߴ እንዲሉ ወንድማችን ምንም የምንወደውና የምንሳሳለት ቢሆንም ወደማይቀርበት ሀገራችን እና ቤታችን ቀድሞን ሔዷል፡፡ እኛም ወደዛው ተጓዞች ነን፡፡ በመጨረሻም እንደ ዐይኑ ብሌን ይሳሳላቸው ለነበሩ ልጆቹ፤ እንደ እራሱ ሕይወት ይወዳት ለነበረች ባለቤቱ፤ሁል ጊዜ ድምጹን ይናፍቁ ለነበሩ እናቱና ሌሎች ቤተሰቦቹ ፤ እንዲሁም የእርሱን መልካምነትና በጎነት ቀምሰው በብዙ ውጣ ውረዶች ውስጥ አብረው ላሳለፉ ጓደኞቹ መጽናናትን እየተመኘን የወንድማችንን ወልደ የሐንስን ንፍስ እንዲምርልን በማለት ከብዙ ባጭሩ የአቶ ቦና ዱሬሳ የሕይወት ታሪክን እንቋጫለን፡፡
