Glen Dale Corbin Obituary

Mr. Glen Dale Corbin of Hardyville, Kentucky was born on March 20, 1946 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to the late Harold and Malinda Anderson Corbin. He departed this life on Friday, October 8, 2021 at his home having attained the age of 75 years, six months and 19 days.


He made a profession of faith in Christ. Mr. Corbin was a truck driver and employed by Barry Whitlow Trucking.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Garmon Corbin on December 22, 2018, having united in marriage on November 9, 1963.


Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Sheila Duncan of Cave City, and Diane and Jason Ballard of Hardyville; Three sons and two daughters-in-law: Ronnie and Tammy Corbin, and Jason Corbin all of Hardyville, and Ricky and Linda Corbin of Florida; 14 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren; Two sisters: Lorene Smith of Albany, and Annie Vibert of Burkesville; and a host of other relatives and friends.


He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter: Heather Corbin; six brothers: James Corbin, Willard Corbin, Murral Corbin, Junior Corbin, Manuel Corbin and Edward Corbin; and two sons-in-law: John Duncan and Kenny Bowles. 


Funeral services for Mr. Glen Corbin will be conducted at 2 P.M., Central Time, Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at the Whickerville Jesus Name Church with burial to follow in the Garmon Cemetery in Knob Lick, Kentucky. Bro. Bobby Neal officiating.


Visitation is requested from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time, Monday, October 11, 2021 at Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg and after 9 A.M. Tuesday until time of the service at the church.


The family has asked that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to Whickerville Jesus Name Church, which can be made at the funeral home or the church.
