Peggy Lynn Stumbo Bowen

Peggy Lynn Stumbo Bowen 50 of Dunlow, WV passed away on Thursday October 7, 2021 at Three River Medical Center in Louisa, KY. Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2021 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, WV with Pastor Emanuel Ferguson officiating. She was born on May 9, 1971 in Louisa, KY to the late Troy and Della Ferguson Stumbo. Peggy was a homemaker, medical assistant and loving mother. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one sister Ruby Dudding, one brother Danny Stumbo Sr., three sisters-in-law Ethelene Stumbo, Ida Robertson and Debbie Copley, One niece Christie Farley Johnson, two nephews Jesse and Danny Stumbo Jr., one great nephew Russel Johnson and one great niece Michaele Andrus. Peggy is survived by her husband Carl Edward Bowen of Dunlow; two sons, Joshua Mounts (Natasha Thompson) of Huntington and Zachary Carl Edward Bowen of Wayne; four brothers, Billy Stumbo (Lilly), Ronnie Stumbo, Randy Stumbo (Donetta) all of Dunlow and Jerry Stumbo (Patricia) of Genoa, WV; two sisters, Donna Farley (Terry) of Crum and Flora Perry (Gregory) of Prichard; two sisters-in-law Elaine Stumbo of Lavalette and Denise Copley of Fort Gay; three brothers-in-law Jeff Bowen (Amanda) and Marvin Likens of Fort Gay and Charles Copley (Amandia) of Huntington, WV; one granddaughter Adelyn Thompson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends too numerous to mention. Visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral services at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne.
