<p>Carolyn King LeCompte, 71, died Friday, October 8, 2021. Born January 29, 1950 she was a native of Monticello, Mississippi and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana.</p><p><br></p><p>A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 3:00 PM until service time at Coteau Baptist Church. A Memorial Service will begin at 4:00 PM at the church. </p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard LeCompte; son, Shawn LeCompte (Ammey); daughters, Susan Morvant (Allen), Angela Rome (Scotty Authement); grandchildren, Seth Navarre, Dylan LeCompte, Dana LeCompte, Candice Morvant, Isabella Rome; siblings, Charles King, Vickie Richard, Gregory King.</p><p><br></p><p>She is preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Carrie Marie Cox King; sister, Linda Thibodeaux; nephews, Chris Thibodeaux and Chad Thibodeaux. </p><p><br></p><p>She was a member of Coteau Baptist and loved attending church. She enjoyed collecting angels, loved everyone she met and never liked to see a sad face. </p><p><br></p><p>Ordoyne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.</p>
