Robert Maguire, 68, passed away Monday October 4, 2021. He was the father of Cole R. Maguire of Foster. Born in Providence, November 8, 1952, he was a son of the late Joseph and Marjorie (Darlington) Maguire. In addition to his son Cole, he is survived by his girlfriend of 5 years, Pamela Vangel. He was the former husband of Lorie Maguire-Henderson. Bob was the brother of Ellen Ricciardi (Joe), Patricia Hamel (Joe), Kathryn Maguire-Fahey and the late Susan Mulready and Michael Maguire. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was a Forester/Logger for over 35 years and former owner of the B&P and Sons Forest Products. Bob lived in Foster for most of his life before moving to Coventry in 2010. He enjoyed playing chess, was an avid reader and New England Patriots fan. He loved helping his father , Joe, on the families farm. Bob was also a former sponsor of the “Poor Bob’s Logging” softball team. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 9-11am in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Pike (Rt.44) Greenville. Burial will be private.
