Jimmie Lee Rucker Sr.

Jimmie Lee Rucker Sr. was born November 22, 1929 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Millard F. Rucker and Nellie Moore. He and Mary Adella Franklin were married on October 8th, 1950 in Osceola, Arkansas. She proceededhim in death in 2002. He accepted Christ as his savior at an early age. He became a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in 1959 were he served as the Sunday school superintendent, on the Deacon Board, and in the male Choir. He held various jobs to support his family including being a laborer and a small business owner. Jimmie was proceeded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Sarah Blackman and Lizzie Rucker, 1 son, Jimmie Lee Rucker Jr. in 2000, and 1 Grandson, Bernard Davis in 1973. He leaves behind to cherish his memory 3 sons, Edward Leroy Rucker (spouse, Andrea Rucker) of Sherman, Texas, Leo Rucker Sr. and Nathan White, both of Topeka, Kansas, 5 daughters, Charlene Nard and Ruby Jean Chappell, both of Topeka, Kansas, Annette Rucker Mingo (spouse Bradford Mingo) of Purcellville, Virginia, Linda Fay Rucker of Raytown, Missouri, and Amanda Rucker of Topeka, Kansas, 2 sisters-in-law Emma Jefferson and Anita Weatherspoon of Blytheville, Arkansas, 22 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 2 great, great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
