Houlton/Stacyville – Ronald F Bragg “Ronnie”, passed away peacefully at his home. He is now at home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Ronnie was born on November 23, 1942, in Island Falls, the son of Montel and Helen (Boutilier) Bragg. He grew up in Stacyville and graduated from Sherman Highschool in 1963. He had the rare distinction of having perfect attendance throughout all his school years. Ronnie impressed everyone with his quick wit, incredible memory and friendly wave. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox. Ronnie is survived by his “adopted parents” Kevin & Karen Rodgerson, their son Patrick, his wife Erica & children, Myles, Ian, Amelia, and Makenna of Holden. Their Daughter Rena Kurtz and husband Brandon of Ellenton, Florida. His wonderful caregiver Becky Kinney and his extended Kinney family and friends and staff at CLA and good friend Mary Anne. He was predeceased by his parents and several uncles and Aunts. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 water St., Houlton, from 1:00 until 2:00. A service of remembrance will be held at 2:00 with Pastor Andy Harthorne officiating. Interment will be in the Oakfield Cemetery. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude and appreciation to Becky for all the wonderful years of loving care. Also, CLA for the services provided and the opportunity it gave him to have a job. Ronnie loved working at Houlton Regional Hospital. The staff there was very good to him. In lieu of flowers those that wish to contribute in memory of Ronnie can send donations to the Houlton Humane Society. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home.
