James Edward Kissee, 85, Rogersville, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield. He was born November 15, 1935, in Christian County, Missouri the son of the late William B. Kissee and Georgia H. (Hacker) Kissee. James was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Amazing Grace Fellowship Church in Springfield. He is survived by a nine children, Candy, James, Jr., Robin, Danny, Gary, Angie, Theresa, Ronald, and Teresa; a brother, Lonnie Kissee; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 11, 2021 at Watts Cemetery, south of Rogersville, under direction of J.D. Lee and Sons Funeral Home, Rogersville. No visitation is planned.
