She was born on February 18, 1951 in Columbus, OH and was the daughter of the late Vernon and Ruth Ward Phillips. She previously worked for Walt Disney World at Epcot and was known as funny, outgoing and enjoyed partying in her younger days. She also was all about her family, loving them dearly. She is survived by one son, Ronald Blain Adams; one daughter, Ericka Jeanette Hussey; siblings, Lorena Lynn (Henry) Wilson, Dorothy Louise (her significant Raymond) Polizzi, Joyce Elaine (Roger) Hofmann, Danny Eugene (Karen) Phillips, Tillie (Wells) Bostic; special friend, Nickie Eader and nine grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Danny Adams and one brother, John Michael Phillips. Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 am, October 15th, 2021 at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Visitation will be held Friday 10-11 am at the funeral home.
