Teresa Faye Adams Parsons, 58, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Mrs. Parsons had worked in customer service in the hospitality industry, most notably at The Grove Park Inn and The Biltmore Estate. She loved arts and craft work, especially needle felting, in which she created many things such as animals and Christmas tree ornaments using sheep’s wool. She also enjoyed cooking, picking flowers, and spending quality time relaxing with her family. Mrs. Parsons was the daughter of the late Linda Faye Nichols Adams. She was also preceded in death by her aunt, Blanche Nichols. Surviving are her husband of 25 years, Christopher James Parsons; daughter, Kaitlyn Faye Parsons; aunt, Barbara Nichols; and sister-in-law, Donna Ashemore. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, October 23, 2021 in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the services In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mrs. Parsons’ memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
