RUTH CADE, age 77, of Piqua, OH passed away at 2:24 PM on Thursday, October 7, 2021 in her residence. Ruth was born in Piqua, OH on August 2, 1944 to the late William A. and Elizabeth J. (Phillippi) Lemmon. She married Jesse F. Cade in Bellefontaine, OH on November 6, 1969 and he preceded her in death on August 28, 2003. She is survived by three sons: Todd Cade, Troy, OH; Eric Cade, TX; and Joel Cade, Troy, OH; her goddaughter: Marsha Wellborn; six grandchildren: Nathanel, Andrew, Kathryn, Caleb, Jesse, and Iliana; and four great-godchildren: Maria, Jessica, Christian, and Cory. She was preceded in death by one sister: Margaret Gross and two brothers: Frank Lemmon and William A. Lemmon II. Ruth graduated from Piqua Central High School in 1962 and received her Associates Degree from Edison State Community College and a Bachelor degree from Urbana University. Ruth was a homemaker and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
