Mr. Clayton Underwood, age 83 of Fayette, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 2:30 P.M. from Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will lie in state Tuesday from 1:30-2:30 P.M. at the church.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Dewey and Lucille Wimberly Underwood, and his wife: Dana Underwood. 

Survivors include two sons: Gregg Underwood (Cyndi) of Fayette, and Craig Underwood (Debbie) of Mobile, three grandchildren: Nicole Cox (Shelby), Brittany Miller (Micah) both of Atlanta, Spencer Underwood of Mobile, and one great-grandchild: Pepper Cox of Atlanta.

Honorary pallbearers are: Ron Goodwin, and Tom Richey.

Active pallbearers will be: Matt Brock, Max Ary, Jimmy Pendergrass, Chuck Brock, Kerry Kerr, and Joe Roberts.
