Steven J. Schoenke "Steve" Steve was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on Monday, October 4, 2021, at the age of 60. Dear father of Kyle Schoenke and Ryan Schoenke. Loving brother of Nora (Jon) Hauser and Paul (Cori) Schoenke. Proud uncle of Laura Hauser and Michael Hauser. Steve will be remembered by other relatives and friends. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Ardell and Marion (nee Wittbrod) Schoenke. Steve enjoyed lighting up the room with his jovial personality and bringing a smile to everyone's face. He loved watching movies and sports. He was especially passionate about classic rock music. He loved assisting others, with exceptional kindness, using his EMT, CNA and medical education. During Christmas, he brought joy to the little ones by dressing up as Santa. While Steve had many ongoing medical and physical challenges, he remained positive and never felt sorry for himself. For this, he was an inspiration to many! Relatives and friends may join the family on Saturday, October 23, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 380 Bluemound Rd., Waukesha, from 10:00 AM until the Memorial Service at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to NAMI Southeast Wisconsin, 217 Wisconsin Ave. #300, Waukesha, WI 53186, would be appreciated. Following the services at the funeral home, everyone is invited to join Steve's family for a memorial luncheon at Thunder Bay Grille, N14 W24130 Tower Pl., Pewaukee, WI 53072.
