Frances Louise Frengel Obituary

Frances Wood Frengel of Oneonta passed away on October 6, 2021 at the age of 76. She was a graduate of Susan Moore High School and then attended Elim Bible College in New York. Fran and her husband Bob pastored Oneonta Bible Church. She worked as the Chief Clerk at the Blount County Sheriff's Department for the past 27 years. Fran was a long time member of The Amaryllis Garden Club where she was currently serving as president. Her love of gardening was evident in her own personal flower garden as well as many garden club projects throughout Blount County. Fran loved to travel and had many exciting adventures with her family. She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by all that knew her. Fran is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Frengel of 52 years. Daughters, Karissa Frengel and Alanna (Robert) Wanninger. Grandsons, Evan Wanninger and Case Wanninger. Sisters Jennie (A.W.) Timmerman and Nancy (Allen) Rhodes. A host of nieces, nephews and close friends. She was predeceased by her parents Lawrence and Virginia Wood. Brothers, Larry and Don Wood.
