Gregory A. Gerhard, 73, of Rockwood, passed away on October 6, 2021. He is a son of the late Harold W. and Irene Gerhard. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, H.W. Jr and Heather Harah. Gregory is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Gloria (Smith) Gerhard; sons, Gregory Jr (April) Gerhard, Stephen (Mary) Gerhard and Brett Gerhard. He is also survived by grandchildren, Jordon, Grace, Hannah, Noah, Ellianna, Kaleb and Abigail; great-granddaughter, Ellie Mae; sister, Karen Morgan and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives. Gregory was a graduate of Rockwood Area Schools and Vale Tech. He was employed by Bender Implement, a coal miner, and a 3rd generation farmer & maple producer. Gregory was an avid hunter, enjoyed shooting pool, a Pittsburgh sports fan, and loved farming his whole life up until his illness.  Friends and family will be received on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 1 pm until the celebration of life at 2 pm, at Somerset First Christian Church, 139 E.
