Steve H. Goetz Sr., 73, of Cold Spring, passed away on October 6, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Health Care in Edgewood, KY. Steve was a retired Director of Materials Management with Shriners Hospital in Cincinnati. He was the former Mayor of Newport, KY, a member of the Shriners and the Royal Order of the Jesters. Steve had an BS Degree from Whiskey University and was an Adjunct Master Bourbon Taster, he was also a member of the band "Three Old Guys With Guitars". He was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth "Betty Lou" Goetz and father Leroy "Pete" Goetz. Steve is survived by his sons Steve H. Goetz Jr. and Floyd (Michelle) Combs, daughters Erinn Goetz and Laurie Combs, a grandson Mason Goetz, brothers Thomas (Shelley) Goetz and Daniel (Patricia) Goetz and sister Connie Goetz. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home 427 S. Ft. Thomas Ave. in Ft. Thomas. Funeral Ceremony will follow at 7:00 pm Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at the funeral home.
