Linda Ousnamer July 28, 1953 – May 24, 2017 Linda Steele Ousnamer was born on July 28, 1953 in Madison, Wisconsin, to parents Stanley and Ruth (Ries) Steele. In 1955 she moved to Stoughton, Wisconsin for farm life and then to Janesville, Wisconsin in August of 1964. She graduated from Janesville Craig High School in 1971, then became a bookkeeper. Between 1975 and 1995 she lived in Indiana, Wisconsin, and California. In 1995, Linda fulfilled her lifelong dream of moving to Colorado, where she created her bookkeeping business, Pencil Pusher Inc., which recently celebrated 20 years in business. Linda also became an active member of Business Network International, (BNI) Masters chapter cs189, where she held several positions in the local chapter and franchise. Linda enjoyed hosting foreign exchange students and was a representative for Youth For Understanding. She was an avid quilter, reader, bowler, enjoyed Bible study, and time with family and friends. She is survived by two brothers, John Steele and Jeff Steele; and sisters: Barbara Korom (Chuck), Julie Teche, Karen Dennis (Tony), Laurie McCutchan (Jim); and brother in law, Dennis Sime. Cherished nieces and nephews: Carija Ihus, Jessica Sisko, Jim Connelly, Dan Connelly, Beth Schultz, Mike Steele, Lauren Moriva, Clint Steele, Andy McCutchan, Sean Moriva, Ben Sime, Alex Erickson, Margaret Teche and their families; along with many cousins. Close lifelong friends who were like family to Linda: Sue and Bill Chwala, their children Luci and Joe, and Jan and Ken Houin, their children Christy, Jeff, Kurt, Lori and families. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Ruth Steele; her step-mother, Lexine Bosben Steele; her eldest sister, Vicki Sime; and niece, Katie Sime. Visitation 1:00pm and Memorial Service 2:00pm June 3 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Boulevard. Reception follows at Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 S. Union Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for a tree planting and bench in Linda’s honor may be made to the family: Ousnamer Memorial 2558 W. Deer Path Trail Janesville, WI 53545
