Linda A. Hudak
Linda A. Hudak, 51, of Freehold Township, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, at her residence. Mrs. Hudak was born in Rahway and had lived there before moving to Freehold Township in 1988. Mrs. Hudak was an executive secretary for Merck & Company, Rahway for 27 years, retiring in 2004. She was predeceased by her father, Richard Barnhart, in 1980. Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Edward Hudak; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard and Katie Hudak of Howell, and Daniel Hudak of Freehold Township; a grandson, Tyler Hudak; her mother, Hazel Barnhart; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Judy Barnhart of Woodbridge; her dear friends, Mari LaStella and Robbin Balogh; and two faithful canine companions, Timber and Buddy. Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Friends and relatives are invited to attend her funeral service at 9 a.m. Saturday at Hope Lutheran Church, 211 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township, with the Rev. Dr. Patricia Medley officiating. Interment will follow in Hazelwood Cemetery, Rahway. For those who desire, contributions in Linda's memory may be made to the Freehold First Aid & Rescue Squad, 18 Spring St., Freehold, NJ 07728, and would be appreciated.
