Jeffrey Martin Courneen

Jeffrey Martin Courneen, 36, of Bristol, passed away on Monday, October 4th, 2021. He was born on October 20, 1984, in Farmington, CT, the beloved son of Laura (Fox) Courneen and James Martin Courneen. Jeff graduated from Rocky Hill High School in 2004 as a very gifted athlete, excelling in basketball and football, earning first team All State Honors. Jeff was inducted into the Rocky Hill High School sports Hall of Fame for both sports in 2013. After graduating from High School, Jeff continued to enjoy playing basketball and perfecting his golf game while rooting for his favorite NFL Team, the Philadelphia Eagles. Jeffrey enjoyed a very rewarding career as General Manager at Connecticut Home Remodelers in Naugatuck, CT. He leaves behind his son; his mother, Laura (Fox) Courneen of Key West, FL.; his father, James Martin Courneen of Newington, CT.; his brother Jason Courneen and family; his sister Jaclyn Courneen; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Elaine Menthe; his aunts, Kim, Linda, Diane and Sharon and cousins, Mark, Ryan, Tyler, Julie, Shannon, Lindsay, Austin and Nick. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday, October 9th, 2021 at the Burke-Fortin funeral home, 76 Prospect St,, Rockville, CT 06066. All are welcome to stay for a memorial service at 4pm at the same location. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
