Herman Rea

On September 25, 2021 at the age of 65, Herman Stanley Rea passed away into God’s grace due to complications with COVID-19. Herman was a hardworking and proud family man who loved the outdoors. He returned to the family farm outside of Shaunavon in 2016. He was a long-time member of the Shaunavon Alliance Church and volunteered as a board member at the Cypress Hills Ability Centres. When Herman wasn’t busy hunting, riding his motorcycle, doing work around the farm, or helping others, he would be making plans and travelling to see family and friends throughout Canada and the United States. Herman is survived by many loving individuals including his son Kelsy Rea (Jolene Zenner) and grandchildren Charlotte and Clyde of Minnesota, his daughters Tannis Weeks (Zachary) of Edmonton, and Abbie Rea (Rob Geddes) of Edmonton, his brother Elliott Rea of Calgary, loved ones in Utah, friend Kristine and many other family and friends. Herman was preceded in death by his parents Tom and Ethel Rea and his sister Maggie Rea. Herman will be missed dearly. A funeral/celebration of life will be held at The Bridge Alliance Church, 199 - 3rd Avenue West, Shaunavon, Saskatchewan on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. The family asks that for those wishing, memorial donations be made to the Cypress Hills Ability Centres in memory of his sister Maggie.
