Royce Lavon Creed, age 85, went to her heavenly home on October 6th, 2021, from the arms of her forever sweetheart. Royce Lavon (Biles) Creed was born on May 10, 1936, in Lowry City, Missouri to Arvin and Pauline Biles. Her family moved to Kansas and settled in Mayfield. Royce married William Creed on April 27,1957. They celebrated 64 years of marriage before she passed. They made their home in Wellington, Kansas where they had four children. They later retired and moved to Cleora, Oklahoma. Royce was preceded in death by her parents, Arvin and Pauline Biles, brother Larry Biles. She is survived by her loving husband, William Creed, who was her world. Thirteen grandchildren, Kasey (Cody) Kemp of Meade, Oklahoma, Nathan Creed of Afton, Oklahoma, Jordan (Brittany) Creed of Wichita, Ks., Sadie (Zach) Gilbert of Hays, Ks., Ashley (Cody) Townley of Wichita, Ks., Nicholas (Natalya) Creed of Wichita, Ks., Amber Creed of Wichita, Ks., Derrick (Jael) Yoder of Winfield, Ks., Tanner (LeeAnna) Creed of Wellington, Ks., Trevon Creed, of Wichita, Ks., Emily Creed of Wellington, Ks., Allyson Creed of Wellington, Ks., and Natalyn Creed of Wellington, Ks. Five great grandchildren, Gavin Kemp of Durant, Oklahoma, Sagen Kemp of Meade Oklahoma, Maverick Yoder of Winfield, Ks., Kennedy Townley of Wichita, Ks., and Carter Yoder of Winfield, Ks. One great-great-grandchild, Isabella Kemp of Durant, Oklahoma, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021, at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel in Vinita. The celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the Cleora Community Church, with Pastor Ben Lindsly officiating. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at the Osborne Cemetery in Mayfield, Kansas.
