GEORGETOWN – Garney J. Hall, 71, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. He was born on May 26, 1950, to the late Clarence Hall and Marian Phillips. Garney worked for Sussex County as an auto mechanic for 30 years. He was a member of the Southern Delaware Street Rod Association and enjoyed taking his 1932 Chevrolet Red Coupe to car shows. Garney was a huge NASCAR fan, loved dirt track racing fan and was proud to watch all of his grandkids race. In addition to his parents, Garney was preceded by his wife, Judith Mitchell Hall. He is survived by his children, Martha ‘Marty’ Metz (Michael); and Jamie Hall (and fiancé Renae); six grandchildren, Ashley, Sean, G.J., Thomas, Hallie, and Morgan; and his dog, Dusty.
