Kim Elizabeth Anweiler

Celebrating the remarkable life of Kim Elizabeth Anweiler. Born on October 21, 1956, in Kentville, Nova Scotia to parents Antony and Christina Mitzel, she will be dearly remembered by her husband, Harvey; her two children, Brad and Melissa; her sister, Holly; and her brother, Rob. Kim shaped the lives of her five loving granddaughters, Alisha, Mariah, Taylor, Isabelle, and Dylan, who will carry her legacy with them in every step they take. Countless family and friends will remember Kim as a strong, intelligent, devoted role-model who would go to great lengths for those she loved. At 19 years old, Kim met her husband Harvey and the two were married shortly after her 20th birthday on Oct. 23, 1976. Kim and Harvey spent the last 45 years by each-other's sides, eventually settling into their forever home in Summerland, BC. It was here that she hosted the most magnificent dinners, Christmas parties, birthdays, and endless celebrations of the love-filled life she created for herself and her family. When she wasn't planning such events, she played the role of bookkeeper, accountant, manager, and owner of three successful businesses over the years. In addition to her exceptional career and strong work ethic, we will never forget her as the fierce protector and nurturer of her children and grandchildren. Her generosity truly had no limits. Kim was the first one you call in your time of need - always there to provide support, comfort, and safety in a moment's notice. She was the one willing to step up and take charge in any situation, and our lives truly will not be the same without her.

A Celebration of Life has taken place on October 5th, 2021.
