For Ralph’s loved ones who are unable to attend his Memorial Mass in person the Mass will be lived streamed please click on the link https://youtu.be/ReqsxKcSqzQ Ralph Fabrizio, 98 World War II Veteran and longtime Maplewood Resident Ralph Fabrizio, 98, passed away at home on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 with his beloved wife of 75 years, Cecilia by his side. Ralph was born in South Orange and lived in Maplewood for the past 70 years. He served in the US Army during World War II from 1942-1945. Most notably, he courageously defended our country during some of the most decisive moments in WWII history, D-Day and Battle of the Bulge. We honor his heroic devotion today and every day. Ralph worked as a Polisher for H. Boker & Co. in Maplewood from 1939-1979 and then as a Grounds Keeper for the Township Of Livingston, Parks and Recreation Department from 1979-1989. Ralph and his wife were avid golfers spending all of their spare time on the greens with cherished family and friends. Their passion for golf kept the joy in their hearts as they shared many laughs and stories. Ralph was predeceased by his siblings Lawrence, Anthony, Michael and Dominick Fabrizio. Michelina Mercadante, Mary Marvosa and his nephew Anthony Maraino. He is survived by his beloved wife Cecilia Nardone Fabrizio and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect Street, South Orange, on Tuesday, Oct 12th at 10:00 AM. Interment is private.
