Ronald E. Shemick, 66, passed away Saturday October 2, 2021. He was born in Providence, a son of Helen L. (Howard) Shemick of North Scituate and the late Donald C. Shemick. Ron was a co-founder of New England Precision, Co. and has worked there for 29 years. He has been a Scituate resident most of his life and attended East Coast Aero Tech and Spartan College of Aeronautics. Ron sang as a tenor and performed in numerous operas and musical shows. He sang with Bel Canto Opera House for 10 years. He was a volunteer at the South Foster Fire Dept. and a former member of Friendship Lodge #7 F&AM. In addition to his mother, he was a longtime companion of Juliana Kaspari of North Scituate. He was the brother of Donna E. Geffre of North Scituate and Thomas J. Shemick and his wife Lynn of Foster. He was the uncle to Andrew and Tyler Shemick of Foster and Raymond Geffre and his wife Luisa Ocampo of New Zealand. Visitation Friday, October 8, 2021 from 10am-12pm in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Home, 643 Putnam Pike, Greenville, with a funeral service to follow at 12pm. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
