Homer A. Lindsey, Jr., age 75, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021, the son of Homer Sr. and Alice (Tuffley) Lindsey. Homer graduated from Highland Park High School. He worked for the Shawnee County Refuse Department for many years. Homer loved the outdoors, gardening, and helping other people. Homer participated in a project for the homeless, making plastic sleeping mats out of grocery bags. Homer was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Sr. and Alice Lindsey, and a brother, Larry Lindsey. He is survived by a bother, Billy Lindsey of Topeka, KS, and 2 sisters, Janice Poley of Topeka and Vienna Zechel of Dunnegan, Missouri. A Memorial service will be held. The date and time is TBD.
