<p>Marla Jean Abbott, 74, of Fowler, Indiana, passed away at 3:15 p.m. est. Monday, October 4, 2021, at Greenhill Manor, in Fowler. Mrs. Abbott was born on December 12, 1946, in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of Gerald and Margaret (Snook) Miller. She married Billy Joe Abbott on November 25, 1995, in Catlin. He preceded her in death on January 30, 2018. She is survived by four children- John Dicken of Westville, Margaret Birge of Hoopeston, Charles (Dot) Tiffin of Fairmount and Troy (Jody) Tiffin of Hoopeston; fourteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; aunt- Sara Lou Thiede of Olivet; and a special cousin- Lillian Duez of Danville. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother-Mike Miller. Marla enjoyed playing bingo, euchre and drinking Pepsi. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 8, 2021, at Danville National Cemetery. The family has entrusted Blurton Funeral Home to assist them in honoring Mrs. Abbott&rsquo;s life.
