<p> </p> <p>Gary Buffett</p> <p>North Sydney</p> <p>It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, William Gary Buffett age 69, on Monday October 4, 2021 at the Northside General Hospital.</p> <p>Born in North Sydney, August 14, 1952, Gary was the son of the late William Roy and Jean (Ludlow) Buffett. He was employed as a mechanic with Devco at the Prince Mine until his retirement. Gary enjoyed fishing and hunting, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.</p> <p>Gary is survived by his wife Diana (Romeo) Buffett, his daughters Stacey Buffett (John Hart), North Sydney, Lori (Clancy) MacDonald, Guelph, ON, Cara Buffett (Josh Evans), Fort Saskatchewan, granddaughters Alex, Jillian and Samantha, grandson Nicholas, great-grandson Carson, sisters Diane (Sam) Farrell, Centreville, NS, Donna Buffett, Sydney Mines, brothers Ralph (Norma) Buffett, North Sydney and Greg Buffett, Dartmouth, a number of nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Gary was predeceased by his parents William Roy and Jean Buffett.</p> <p>Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney. At his request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in memory of Gary may be sent to Parkinson’s Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
