<p>SERVICE INFORMATION:</p> <p>Raven&nbsp;Rivers - Swaink, 44, of Shenandoah, unexpectedly entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Shenandoah Medical Center.&nbsp; A celebration of life memorial service for Raven will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:30 am at the Shenandoah Elks Lodge #1122 with Pastor Joe Eberly officiating.&nbsp; The family will greet relatives and friends with visitation from 10:00 am to 11:30 am prior to the service at the Elks Lodge.&nbsp; Lunch and fellowship with the family will take place following the service.&nbsp; Memorials are being directed to the family.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>OBITUARY:</p> <p>Raven Jean (Rogers) Rivers - Swaink, daughter of Ricky Dean and Deborah Jean (Fisher) Rivers, was born on August 7, 1977, in Wala Wala, Washington.&nbsp; She unexpectedly entered into eternal rest on October 2, 2021, at the Shenandoah Medical Center in Shenandoah, Iowa, at the age of 44 years, 1 month, 25 days.</p> <p>Her early life was spent growing up in the communities of Essex, Shenandoah, and Sidney, Iowa.&nbsp; Raven graduated from Sidney High School with the Class of 1995. &nbsp;&nbsp;She then attended Central Christian College of the Bible.</p> <p>On September 14, 2019, Raven was united in marriage to Daniel Keith Swaink.&nbsp; Completing their family are their children Brenna, Kayla, Roman and Hunter.</p> <p>At a young age, Raven learned sign language from one of her friends who was hearing impaired.&nbsp; She turned this into a lifelong passion and future career path.&nbsp;&nbsp; She was a sign interpreter at Nishna Valley Christian Church.&nbsp; She had also worked at the Shenandoah Community Schools, Nishna Production Inc, and Clarinda Academy through the years.&nbsp; She attended the Nishna Valley Christian Church and was involved in her mother&rsquo;s ministry at the I Do Care Worship Center.</p> <p>Preceding Raven in death were her mother, Deborah Rivers; brother, Thaddeus Rivers; grandfather, John Fisher; and special great uncles Barton and John.&nbsp; Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Daniel Swaink; Two daughters, Brenna and Kayla, two sons, Roman and Hunter; father, Rick Rivers; two brothers, John Wasson and Michael Wells;&nbsp; three grandkids,&nbsp;Aurora Makenzie&nbsp;Dawson, Salem Killian Rayne Clark&nbsp;and Michael James Wyland; sister, Michelle Stiverson; grandparents, Rose Fisher, Dean and Kay Rivers and Ray and Diana Hartung;&nbsp;father and mother-in-law, Dan and Stacy Swaink; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
