<p>Dale Franklin Botts, 86, passed away on October 3, 2021. </p> <p>Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 7,2021 at Meadville Church of Christ, Meadville, MO with Brother John Lee officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 6,2021 at Wright Funeral Home, Brookfield, MO with family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.</p> <p>Memorials to Botts Cemetery or Meadville Church of Christ may be left at or mailed to Wright Funeral Home, P.O. Box 496, Brookfield, MO 64628.</p> <p>Dale Franklin was born in Meadville, Missouri on February 8,1935 to Elgin and June (Brobst) Botts. On April 7,1957 he was united in marriage to Sarah MacDonald.</p> <p>Dale served in the United States Army. He spent many years as an auto mechanic working at Wolfe Auto in Brookfield, and as a dairy farmer. Dale loved his church and was an Elder at the Meadville Church of Christ.</p> <p>Dale is survived by his wife, Sarah of the home, one daughter, Peggy Blakenship (Dave), Lees Summit, and one son, Mark Botts (Amy), Meadville; five grandchildren, Laura Vanderveld (Bastian), New York, NY, Julie Blankenship, Los Angeles, CA, Drew Blankenship, Ankeny, IA, Matthew Botts, Lees Summit, and Emily Botts, Meadville, and one sister, Ruth Long, St. Joseph.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister. </p>Obituary
