To the beautiful woman who lives inside the hearts of those she left behind. It broke our hearts to see you go; surrounded by family you left us peacefully, Ena. God called home the Matriarch of the Dixon family (Pekisko Clan), Ella “Ena” Dixon, on Thursday, September 30th, 2021 at the age of 83 years old. Ena was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother, niece, cousin, sister, Auntie, Mother-in-law, and friend. “Ena” Ella will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her only daughter, Brenda (Bob) Lefthand, her brothers- Lawrance (Lorraine) Dixon and Myron (Diane) Baptise, special baby girl who was Ena Heart Josie, her special Great Grandson, LaDaaniuna Lefthand, and her grandchildren, Cameron (Carla) Lefthand and Tiffany Lefthand. She was also mother to her niece and nephews, Jaydelynne (Corey) Jim, Rhonda Bearspaw, Reatha Lefthand, Teresa (Sholdon) Dixon, Devon (Sharon) Poucett, Yogi Dixon, Jenny Bearspaw, Dallas (Krista) Dixon, and Allie (Roxanne) Lefthand. Her grandchildren, Shelby (Oliette), Matthew, Alex, Shykla Dixon as well as her great grandchildren Rainbow, Pete, Shelldon, Dorothyanna, Noha, Julien, baby Ruth, Keonona, Liam, and Talisa Dixon are all left to mourn her. She is survived by her uncles, Paul and Frank (Margery) Chiniqulay, Charlie (Cassie) Mark, Keith (Jamie), Aunties Helene Chinilqulay and Winnie Simeon, cousins Floria (Gibert), Sandra, Dixie (Tater), Glen, Phillomene (Willy), Virgil, Audly (Tilda), Tracey Stevens as well as her nieces and nephews Karen (Harry), Jennifer (Bryce), “Dolly” Marilyn, Clifford (Bernette), and Leo Poucett. Others include, Mina (Charles), Eva (Van), Nan (Bruce) Olie, Elittol Bemumun, Uncle Lawrance Crawler, Daughter-in-law Cindy Eor and kids, and other family members including Dixons, Daniels, Lefthands, Bearspaws, Crawlers, Soldiers, Chiniquays, Stevens, Marks, Abrahams, Benjamins, and Poucetts. The family is sorry if anyone got missed by accident. Ena is predeceased by her parents, Willie and Helen Dixon, her son Keon Dixon, daughter Priscilla Dixon, grandson Jamie Lefthand, Sister Mazie (Georgie) Bearspaw, Floria, Edna (Pete), Dorothy (Floyd) Dixon, brother McFarland (Martha) Dixon, Stuart (Doris) Dixon, Neil (Eunice) Dixon, nephew Floyd, Taylor, Gerald, Durelle Bearspaw, Valma (Gerald), Keith Dixon, niece Ruth Dixon, granddaughter Candice Dixon, and her grandson Samsen Ear. The wake will be at Brenda (Bob) Lefthand’s residence on Tuesday October 5th, 2021 with the funeral to follow at Eden Valley Church at 12:00pm. “Ena” Ella will be laid to rest at the Eden Valley cemetery with a graveside service taking place. Afterwards, there will be a drive by feast for which all family are welcomed.
