EUNICE ~ For 102 years, Elta Fruge LeBouef, graced her family and friends with her kind spirit and sweet smile. On Monday, October 4, 2021, Elta passed away unexpectedly in her home. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:00AM  on Friday, October 8, 2021, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Deacon Gary Gaudin, officiating.

     Elta enjoyed many things in life, especially raising chickens, picking and canning figs, baking, sewing, cooking and gardening. She also loved to dance to French music. Elta will especially be missed by her loving family, her sister, Mae Fruge of Eunice; her three grandchildren, Kyle LeBouef and wife, Andrea, Troy LeBouef, and LeRaie LeBouef, all of Eunice; eleven great grandchildren, Daniel LeBouef, Dwayne LeBouef, Dustin LeBouef, Jordan LeBouef, Kylie Jo Miller, Brandi Richard, Briley LeBouef, Brett LeBouef, Kirstin Rider, Shanie Rider, and Heidi Miller; numerous great grandchildren; and extended family and friends.

     She is preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Abner Joseph LeBouef and Armand Bellow; son, James Williard LeBouef; parents, Francis and Marie Miller Fruge; sisters, Audry Bushnell and Ida Fruge; brother, Frank D. Fruge; grandson, Scotty LeBouef; and great grandson, Brock LeBouef.

     At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Thursday, October 7th from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm, and again on Friday, October 8th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will pray a Rosary Thursday evening at 7:00 pm.
